Tiken Jah Fakoly

Tiken Jah Fakoly is one of the leading figures of activist reggae and has embodied a free voice in service of the people of Africa for over three decades. Having discovered protest music at an early age, he continues to root his work in social and political realities, advocating for African unity and sovereignty. Through initiatives such as Un concert, une école, which supports the construction of schools in Côte d’Ivoire, he promotes education as a tool for emancipation. Awarded a Victoire de la Musique, several gold records, and numerous prizes, Fakoly remains a committed artist who makes reggae a space for struggle, transmission, and hope.
